Barwon Heads, Victoria

We were able to camp at Barwon Heads CP for the first week of our stay in the area, after then we had to vacate as the park was fully booked for the Labor Day weekend, second Monday in March in Victoria.

Children don't seem to recognise the necessity of steps, instead would rather clamber down the sea-wall.

Some of our family on the beach at the mouth of the Barwon River. Almost full low tide at this time of day.

A lone fisherman on the jetty. The water is deep and the tidal current is very strong by the jetty. The bridge in the background takes you from Barwon Heads towards Ocean Grove and Point Lonsdale.
