Wrights Bay is situated between Robe and Kingston SE, just 24 km away from Kingston. If you want to come somewhere very quiet and restful, then this is the place. Not a solitary thing to do here except read, write blogs, talk to the other campers and walk either way along the beach. We met up with Nigel and Lyn from Nanango, Qld. It turns out that they are long time friends of our ex neighbours in Dundowran Beach, Bruce and Julie.
As you can see there are not many campers here now, (there is another camp behind the motor home though) but in the season there is over 150 campers here!
Wrights Bay looking towards Kingston SE. As you can see there is a very heavy deposit of seaweed at this end of the beach, up to 1 metre deep in places. This weed only washed up following the high winds of the Easter period.
